Q: How much does this service cost?

Quu services are free of charge. There are no hidden charges or surcharges for purchasing or downloading, or for any other usage of the service. If your phone is data-enabled QuuMobile uses the data connection to send the information to the server. If your phone is not data-enabled or if the data connection is not available, QuuMobile will automatically switched to Text Message. Standard mobile carrier message and data rates may apply.

Q: How often do I receive text messages?

Quu may send you text messages in the following cases:

  • 1 TEXT MESSAGE to confirm you are registering to Quu and to verify your cell phone number during the registration process.
  • UP TO 3 TEXT MESSAGES when you complete your registration, confirming your registration.
  • 1 TEXT MESSAGE to notify you that you opted out of Quu services.
  • In response to your requests for information - everytime you request one of the following:
    • 1 TEXT MESSAGE in response to you requesting the name of the song by texting the frequency of the station followed by the letter s. (for example 925s)
    • UP TO 3 TEXT MESSAGES when you request more information about an advertisement by texting the frequency of the station (e.g. 925), including a text message regarding this advertisement, and possibly a mobile coupon that’s attached to this advertisement.
    • UP TO 3 MESSAGES If you text a keyword regarding an item for interest as advertised, including a text message regarding this advertisement, and possibly a mobile coupon that’s attached to this advertisement.
  • UP TO 4 TEXT MESSAGES when you text the word HELP, explaining the Quu Services and how to use Quu.
  • As specifically provided in the Site Terms and as you may otherwise agree.

Q: When I purchase a product, who do I deal with after the order has been placed?

All purchases are completed directly on the vendor’s website. Therefore all client-vendor relationships are between you and the vendor.

Q: Are all carriers supported?

QuuMobile: If you are using a data connection, QuuMobile will work with all carriers.

T-Mobile requires a full data plan not only T-Zones. If you are subscribed to T-Zones only, you will receive the email and will be able to install QuuMobile, but then you have to switch your application (through Menu/Configuration on your handset) to "No data plan". T-Zones does not allow data transfer, just internet browsing.

QuuText: If you do not have a data plan or if you plan to use QuuText or Java-based QuuMobile, all carriers are supported. Standard mobile carrier message and data rates may apply.

Q: How can I get QuuMobile on my phone if I change phones or if I deleted it from my phone?

Q: How do I change my settings if I get or cancel my data plan?

  • Login to your MyQuu page
  • Click on account
  • Click on Account Information
  • Change setting
On your phone:
  • Click on menu
  • Click on Configuration
  • Change setting
  • If you activated the data plan and you changed your settings, you can request the account info via Text Message.

Q: How secure is my data?

Your data is placed in a secure database. Moreover your data, including your email address, will not be sold to any other party. You will not receive any solicitation emails from our part.

Q: When is QuuStik coming out and how do I get it?

QuuStik is not available yet. Please check our website for updates, or click here to pre-register. The estimated price is around $30.

Q: How do I unsubscribe my QuuMobile application from the service?

Simply go to “Menu” in QuuMobile, select “Unsubscribe”. Your QuuMobile will no longer interact with the server. You will not be able to send or receive requests or messages. To subscribe again, go to “Menu” and select subscribe. You can also send a Text Message to 77859 with the word STOP in the body of the text.

Q: How do I get help on my QuuMobile application from the service?

Simply go to “Menu” in QuuMobile, select “Help”. You can also send a Text Message to 77859 with the word HELP in the body of the text.
